SIX WORD SATURDAY

"Not much faith in astrological forecast."

Unlike some people who won't leave the house without first
checking what the stars predict for them,
I don't put much faith in astrological forecast.
Still I like to read them just for fun and while most are ridiculous,
I sometimes come across one worthy of being
of a fridge magnet.

For example, a recent horoscope of mine read;

"Be weary of people who know the price of everything but the value of nothing."

But the best by far was Hubby's horoscope one day last winter ;

"You have two ears and one mouth.
Perhaps you should use then in that proportion and listen twice as much as you talk."

This one is so fitting for Hubby that I can almost put aside
my skepticism of astrology and become a true follower.
Needless to say this one made it to my fridge
and I do not hesitate to point it out to Hubby
whenever the need arises.

Trust a horoscope?
I don’t think so. Nope, I’ll take
my life as it comes.

The best astrological forecasts are those that are applicable to absolutely anyone! The astrologer who can get his/her readers nodding their heads and saying, "Wow, this is SO right!" will have them coming back for more. And heck, it's way cheaper than therapy.

I read them for fun too but sometimes use them as an excuse to fuel my procrastination. If a forecast says today isn't a good day to start a new project, that's the universe telling me to take it easy and watch tv all day, right?

Well, maybe not...

Have a beautiful day. :)

I always read my horoscope for the day in the paper and then I promptly forget it. I must also not have much faith in astrological forecast.

I don't believe in anything astrological either. But that sure is a good one for hubby. I bet you use it a lot.

Astrology/horoscopes - I'm prone to reading them when I come across them in a publication but I pretty much take or leave them - the good ones:)) -the bad ones, I forget them, in fact they barely even register with me.

I don´t believe any of that astronomical stuff, but those were really good! Good one to have for hubby and I´m sure he laughs every time you point to it! :)

Similarly, I like to read them and laugh a bit. They're either horribly vague or completely inappropriate to my current circumstances.

Thanks for playing 6WS!

Ya know, I check my horoscope every morning, and that's about the extent of it. I always read my fortune from the fortune cookie, too...

Horoscopes can be entertaining if nothing else. My husband had one once that said "be aware of the color yellow", we thought that one was rather funny.

It is funny sometimes how fitting a horoscope can be, eventhough I also take it with a grain of salt.
